Hilton Osaka, Japan, L1 Main Lobby
Project Reference
We got the design idea from the client meeting with the architect and interior designers. They needed a new carpet design for the Hilton Osaka Hotel. The project theme was based on the ' Waterfall ' & ' Sakura ' (see pictures above) which had to match another existed ' Sakura ' axminster carpet of the rooms. Then I formulated their concept into the artwork.

Main colors tone in natural brown, cherry red / pink and with sparkling effect of the flowing water were requested from the client.
Solution: Level piles for highlighting the details and 20% viscose was mixed with wool on the water area.
Product Development
Fine-tuned the sample of the client's request as comments. More details are shown in videos below.
